Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with Basic Senses. We carefully prepare and pack every order from Dublin, Ireland.
Order Processing
Orders are normally processed within 1–2 business days after you receive your order confirmation email. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.
As many Basic Senses products are handmade in small batches, any product with a different preparation or dispatch time will have this clearly stated on the product page.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email.
During particularly busy periods, processing or delivery may take slightly longer. If we expect a significant delay in dispatching your order, we will contact you where appropriate.
Ireland Delivery
Orders within Ireland are shipped using An Post, unless otherwise stated.
Shipping charges are displayed at checkout and may vary depending on the order and delivery method available.
Estimated delivery times shown at checkout or provided after dispatch are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where tracking is included with the selected delivery service, your shipping confirmation email will contain tracking information.
Free Shipping
We currently offer free standard delivery on qualifying orders of €85 or more where indicated at checkout.
Free shipping applies to eligible destinations and orders only. Any applicable conditions will be displayed at checkout.
United Kingdom Delivery
We currently offer delivery to eligible addresses in the United Kingdom where available at checkout.
Orders are dispatched from Ireland using An Post or another delivery service where stated.
Shipping costs and available delivery options are displayed at checkout.
International delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs procedures, postal delays or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where customs duties, import taxes or other charges legally apply to an international order, these may be payable in accordance with the rules applicable to the destination. Any charges that are the customer's responsibility will not be included unless expressly stated at checkout.
Countries We Ship To
Basic Senses currently ships only to destinations made available at checkout.
If your country is not available as a shipping destination during checkout, unfortunately we are not currently able to accept an order for delivery to that country.
We may add or remove shipping destinations as our business and applicable requirements evolve.
Tracking Your Order
If your chosen delivery service includes tracking, you will receive the relevant tracking information in your shipping confirmation email.
Please allow some time after dispatch for tracking information to become active.
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us at shop@basicsenses.com with your name and order number and we will look into it for you.
Incorrect Delivery Information
Please check your delivery address carefully before completing your order.
If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible at shop@basicsenses.com. We will try to correct the address if the order has not yet been dispatched.
Lost, Delayed or Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged, you receive an incorrect item, or you believe your parcel has been lost in transit, please contact us at shop@basicsenses.com with your order number and, where relevant, photographs of the package and products received.
We will investigate the issue and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
